A production planning and control system is concerned with the planning and control of all elements of manufacturing, including the management of materials, the scheduling of equipment and people, and the coordination of suppliers and important customers. Learners will learn how to manage the flow of material efficiently, how to manage the utilization of people and equipment, and how to respond to customer requirements by leveraging the capabilities of the suppliers, internal facilities, and (in certain situations) customers to satisfy customer demand. Because the global marketplace is continuously evolving, it is critical that the Planning and Control system grow in order to keep up with technological, product, and market conditions. In this subject, learners will learn to operate in any capacity of supply chain operations since they will obtain a complete grasp of Manufacturing Planning and Control key features. Learners will also learn how to use several decision-making tools to help them plan and execute effectively.
