The FECS'13 - The 2013 International Conference on Frontiers in Education: Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
The FECS is an international conference that involves researchers, scholars, professionals, students and academics and is considered the largest annual gathering of researchers in computer science, computer engineering, and applied informatics, numbering 2.100 participants from more than 85 countries around the world.
The mission of the Congress was to unite the participants from different entities such as: universities, institutions, companies, government agencies, and research centers/laboratories from all over the world.
It has also linked teachers and researchers, that have the same mission, despite the diversity of geography.
Taking place in the same location, in conjunction with other research conferences, the occasion has facilitated communication among researchers in different fields of computer science, computer engineering, and applied informatics. The Congress was encouraged to launch multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research initiatives, facilitating more opportunities to cross-fertilization among different disciplines.
The paper of the rector of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, Prof. Maria Amata GARITO, is entitled: “New Technologies for Distance Teaching University: A Strategy for Development”.
