Course description |
The Ingegneria Sanitaria Ambientale is a course of the degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. This course gives the opportunities to estimate the effects of human activities on the natural environment, to recognize and to classify the different typologies of pollution. Finally, itwill be given an overview on the water treatment systems. |
Prerequisites |
Students can follow this course after Physic, Chemistry and Material Science, Algebra courses. |
Objectives |
The course gives notions about the water, air and soil pollution. Moreover, it will be described the processes and plants for purification and optimization of industrial use of natural resources. |
Program |
Determination of the humankind activities on environment. Definition pollution parameters. Determination of drinking water parameters. Purification and recycle processes of water. Optimization of the water consuming in industrial plants and recycle of industrial wastes. |
