Description du cours
The course explores in a managerial perspective research and practical applications on the relationship between ICT and network organizations. The focus is represented by the main organizational features, management systems and activities of network organizations: a theoretical perspective for both the analysis and the organizational design allows to consider the main structural and contextual dimensions of an organization, with specific reference to the support by information and communication technology (IT). In particular, the study route is divided into 4 different sections: - Section I: Structure, types and main features of network organizations - Section II: Activities, business model and management systems in network organizations - Section III: Understanding Social Dimension in network organizations - Section IV: Marketing, branding and native advertising

Objectifs
The course aims to provide students with the main concepts needed to analyse and design a network organization. In particular, the course descibes and analyzes key dimensions that the organizational sciences have studied over the last years: ICT, knowledge maangement, leadership, business models, communication, collaboration etc.
Programme
The course provides a framework for “analysing” and designing a network organization and is divided into the following parts: 1. Theoretical foundations of organizational design 2. Structural dimensions and organizational structure 3. Management of the network organization 4. Social and relational dimensions 5. Marketing, branding and native advertising

Entraînements
Two different types of exercises will be delivered and evaluated through the UNINETTUNO’s platform: 1. Multiple choice questions developed on the basis of each lesson; 2. Case studies elaborated with the purpose to evaluate the understanding of the major themes covered in the course.
