Course description

In the module National Health Systems and Health Policies issues such as:
Health, legal protection, the restructuring of the systems operation of hospital units, the total changes after research, the new functional structures of hospitals, the national health systems in Europe and in the US, the similarities and differences in the national health systems in Europe as well as the cultural factors that affect health systems in Europe, health policies, educational and supportive operations in health systems, measurement of health systems and health policies, are described and developed.
The topics of national health systems and health policies are contained in the subject matter of the course, with the simultaneous development of the combination of the functions of hospital units and the establishment of health systems for an effective and efficient health service. In addition, part of the course are also the procedures for detecting the needs of populations and the corresponding policy development, the monitoring and measuring of performance in health services, the legislation and the European directives.
