The course is organized and presented in 21 video lessons that characterize the lectures. The lessons are focused on the study of the life cycle of an industrial plant. The course begins by presenting some general information concerning industrial installations. Following the study of the cash flow related to investment and proceeds going to analyze what are the key performance indicators in investment decisions. The second part of the course focuses on the design of the main mechanical equipment for the industry. Practical methods of sizing of the major components of the plants analyzed are explained and applied. Finally, the third part of the course the main quantitative linked to the concept of balancing of assembly lines. |
Mathematics I, Mathematics II, elements of statistics. |
The course is intended to provide general criteria for the design and construction of industrial plants mechanics, understood as complex systems made from the plant technology and equipment and service activities that contribute to achieving the objective statement. |
• Assessments
• Determining the location of the plant capacity of the plant
• Identification of the production process (flow shop or job shop)
• Study of plant layout
• Decisions on the placement of machines
• Determination of static and dynamic loads of the individual machines to 'internal system
• Determination of the number of workers and their duties
• Sizing of service facilities
• Determination of the types of internal transport
