Course description
This module will provide students with a broad introduction into the complex world of hospitality and tourism management process. It provides an overview of the separate functions and activities that concern managers in modern Hospitality and Tourism businesses. This module reflects modern concerns of hospitality and tourism business operations.
Prerequisites
Students should research hospitality and tourism businesses in order to develop a better understanding of their business activities. Relevant case study material can be valuable sources to support readings on hospitality and tourism business operations.
Objectives
On completion of this module, students will be able to:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the key functional areas of management process in the context of hospitality and tourism industry
