Bachelor Degree - Mechatronics and metallurgical VET for the sectors’industries - MEMEVET

Robotics

CFU: 10
Lingua contenuti:Inglese
Descrizione dell'insegnamento
The course must be able to describe the generic structure and functions of an industrial robot. Interpret a typical program used to control a modern industrial robot and describe common communication themes. Show knowledge and then describe the generic structure and functions of an industrial robot. Be able to identify the varied data types used and give examples of system parameters and configurations. Moreover it must create documents to outline how the programmes were created.
Further purpose of the course is to provide to the students knowledge about the basic principles of selection, design and application of devices for automation in mechanical engineering. The students will gain the knowledge about the main principles of flexible automation and developing NC programs.
