Gli Stati generali della lingua italiana nel mondo (Firenze, 21-22 ottobre) sono stati occasione per approfondire le correnti strategie di diffusione dell'italiano all'estero e per fare il punto, in modo costruttivo, sulle nuove sfide da affrontare, in contemporanea con l’avvio della XIV Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo. I temi trattati vanno dalle nuove sfide e i nuovi strumenti della comunicazione linguistica alle strategie di promozione linguistica per le diverse aree geografiche e per i Paesi prioritari, dal ruolo delle Università con particolare attenzione alle cattedre di italianistica al ruolo degli italofoni e delle comunità italiane all'estero ed alla gestione e gli strumenti della promozione della lingua italiana. Circa il tema delle Strategie di promozione linguistica per le diverse aree geografiche per Paesi prioritari (Mediterraneo, Cina, USA, America Latina), coordinate dalla Prof.ssa Isabella Camera d’Afflitto (Università Roma La Sapienza) e con referente della Farnesina, Davide Scalmani, Dirigente per la Promozione Culturale ed Elena Macarra, Docente, ha visto tra i componenti la Prof.ssa Maria Amata GARITO, Rettore dell’Università Telematica Internazionale – UNINETTUNO.

XI Simposio internazionale dei docenti universitari
